Temple Health CME Program receives Accreditation with Commendation for compliance with the American Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) higher level criteria.

Temple Health CME Program received the highest level of accreditation from the Pennsylvania Medical Society for providing educational programming of top-level quality under the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Standards.

The CME Program earned six-year accreditation with commendation – the highest honor- for complying with all of the 22 required criteria. Accreditation with commendation demonstrates to the medical community and the public that the Program provides physicians with the foremost level of quality in its educational offerings, stressing relevance and effectiveness in impacting performance and quality of patient care.

New Fox Chase Clinical Research Grand Rounds scheduled to begin in September 2016.

Commencing in September 2016, a new cancer center-wide seminar will be implemented at Fox Chase Cancer Center (FCCC) under the leadership of Dr. Paul F. Engstrom, in collaboration with Drs. Efrat Dotan, Wafik S. El-Deiry, Erica Golemis, and Jean-Pierre Issa. The Clinical Research Grand Rounds, explains Dr. Engstrom, “aims to stimulate ideas and ultimately research between clinical investigators and laboratory investigators in our comprehensive cancer center program.”

This seminar will take place on the second Friday of each month from 12 noon to 1:00 pm at the FCCC Reimann Auditorium. The FCCC faculty, clinical and research, fellows, residents, medical students, nurses, and advance practice clinicians are invited to attend.
